Welcome to The Academy
The CSA will continue to educate children in Catholic faith and values while helping them reach their God-given potential, no matter where they fall on the academic spectrum. The Academy will build upon this strong foundation by:
- Incorporating personalized learning instruction, with a focus on project-based learning and developing critical-thinking skills
- Forming partnerships with higher education institutions and corporations to provide students with more science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) opportunities
- Ensuring our schools have the resources to meet the needs of students who have learning differences
Through The Academy, our students will thrive in an intentionally Christ-centered atmosphere that prepares them for the educational and workforce needs of the 21st century.
Looking to the Future
The Academy will initially serve Coyle and Cassidy High School and Middle School in Taunton and Bishop Connolly High School in Fall River, acting as a think tank for best practices in Catholic education. Over time, we will apply the lessons learned — and continue cultivating new partnerships — in bringing this program to all Catholic schools in our diocese.
The CSA believes in respecting the dignity of every child, an ideal supported by the establishment of The Academy. We welcome all children from our communities and look forward to preparing students for academic and professional success.
